Family Teacher (Home Manager) Positions
Family Teachers are responsible for implementing the Teaching Family Model of care.  This is a nationally recognized model provides supports and care for adults with developmental disabilities.  Family Teachers will be participating in the development of Individual Support Plans for adults with developmental disabilities.  These plans include Daily Life Skill Implementation, Behavior Modification Programs, Healthcare Oversight and other areas of client care.  Family Teachers are responsible for the daily management of client homes including implementing plans of care, upkeep on home, financial operations including budgets and supervising additional teaching staff.

Family Teachers are enrolled in a comprehensive paid training program, which includes financial, behavioral, nursing and many other aspects of client care.  WTFS provides all our couples with twenty-four hour administrative, behavioral and nursing support.

Family Teachers work a four to five (4-5) day workweek.  WTFS offers a competitive benefits package including up to three weeks paid vacation, health/dental insurance, 403B retirement program.  Company paid life insurance and additional optional life insurance.

Teaching Counselor Positions
Teaching Counselors  are responsible for teaching Daily Life Skills to adults with Developmental Disabilities.  Teaching Counselors are also responsible for implementing healthcare oversight and behavioral support plans.  Employees are enrolled in a comprehensive paid training program that continues over a course of  three to four weeks.  Teaching Counselors work  twelve (12) hours shifts,  three to four (3-4) days a week including one weekend day.  WTFS offers a competitive benefits package including up to three weeks paid vacation, health/dental insurance, 403B retirement program.  Company paid life insurance and additional optional life insurance.
